London Canal Museum
The London Canal Museum in King's Cross hosts memorial receptions on two floors. Either or both can be used and there is an outdoor area beside the attractive canal basin. The building is a formerVictorian ice warehouse with exposed brickwork and of course exhibits relating to London's canals. Memorials do not follow a standard pattern and we will work with you to plan an occasion that is customised for you and the mourners. It can be a standing reception, a seated event, with or without speeches, a meal, drinks coffee etc. Everything is flexible. Catering is by external caterers when food is wanted. We need evening bookings six days in advance and are available in the evenings from 1630 daily. On Mondays we are available in the daytime (as at August 2020 also Tuesdays to Thursdays - subject to change). Numbers can be up to 200 in normal times.
